City Dark (2012)

This film puts an engaging personal touch on the question of why have the stars disappeared from urban skies around the world.  The film maker unravels the myriad implications of a globe glittering with lights.

6:00pm – 7:30pm = FLASHLIGHT FLASHMOB
Film goers can pick up a torch at City Dark, and join us on a “flashlight flashmob” which will take a short walk from SLQ to the UR{BNE} Festival at Queens Wharf Road (North Quay).  Once there, these torches will enliven lost spaces and takes inspiration from the 200 Torches project in Melbourne.   BYO own light and torches as well.
